WELDING AND FABRI-CATION TRAINING COMPLETED |Seven persons completed a four-month training in Welding and Fabrication with the introduction of Non- Destructive Testing through partnership with the Board of Industrial Training (BIT) and the Demerara Harbour Bridge DHB).

The training is the first of its kind, with the intention to promote the DHB social corporate responsibilities, targeting nearby communities. The first batch of beneficiaries were presented with their    certificates by Minister of Labour, Hon. Joseph Hamilton.

Accompanying the Minister were, CEO of the Board of Industrial Training, Mr. Richard Maughn and Senior Technical Officer, Mr. Rondell Jordan. Another batch of beneficiaries will be commencing another training session sometime soon.
